On Tuesday 18th July, the whole school went on a walk. This was originally planned as part of our Healthy Week studies organised by Mrs Yeo, but was delayed due to the very hot weather we had at that time. The weather was kind to us in the morning before the eventful and exciting downpours in the afternoon. The older children helped the younger children to walk around Stoke Gabriel, taking in the spectacular scenery that surrounds our lovely village school.
The staff and pupils would like to say a huge thank you to all the parents, carers and friends of the school who accompanied us on the walk and made it possible. Thank you to FOSS as well, who provided delicious (and cooling) ice lollies for all the children on their return to school. What a fantastic opportunity this was to get fit and to look at the beautiful countryside around us!
